These proteomic studies in yeast demonstrate that intracellular vesicle clusters (IVCs) are involved in the synthesis of Extracellular vesicle (EV)-associated proteins targeted for secretion to the periplasm, using both protein synthesis inhibition and the expression of the foreign long-glutamine tail protein 103Q-GFP to measure location and numbers of EV-associated proteins.
