We performed a manipulative experiment in which healthy honey bees collected at the time of emergence were exposed to Varroa destructor or left untreated (control) for 72 hours. A total of 10 control and 10 Varroa-treated bees were used for label-free nano-liquid chromatography (LC)MS/MS proteomic analysis. (k01 to k10: control; w01 to w10: Varroa exposed).
