Serum samples were collected from the Rancho Bernardo Study of Healthy Aging. It is a long-term, community-based cohort study that began in the 1970s to investigate aging-related health outcomes among older adults in a San Diego suburb. It has generated extensive longitudinal data over 50 years, providing key insights into cardiovascular health, diabetes, cognition, and lifestyle factors influencing healthy aging. MS/MS data acquisition was carried out on Thermo Q Exactive mass spectrometer in positive ionization mode, with chromatographic separation achieved using a Phenomenex Polar C18 column.
