This proteomic study aimed to investigate the in vitro transdifferentiation potential of equine umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (EqUC-MSCs) using a protocol based on conditioned medium derived from equine facial nerve explant culture. This study contributes to the development of novel cell-based strategies for peripheral nerve repair in equine medicine.
