LiP experimental assays investigating structural alterations in Dense Light vs Dense Dark growth conditions with Reduced/Non-reduced preparations. Samples are Synechococcus elongatus PCC7942 cell lysates (BTO:0004304). Purpose: Probing light- and dark-induced conformational changes in dense cyanobacterial cultures using reduced and non-reduced sample preparation protocols. Technique: Limited proteolysis (LiP). Other details: Nonspecific protease used was pronase at an enzyme:substrate ratio of 1:200. The reduced samples were treated with 100 mM DTT prior to LiP. Data was searched with MaxQuant (using Label free quantification- Match between runs, LFQ-MBR).
