AIMP3 Maintains Cardiac Homeostasis by Regulating the Editing Activity of Methionyl-tRNA Synthetase

Ventricles from Ctrl (n=4, labelled as C1-C4) and A3cKO (n=4, labelled as B1-B4) were excised after 10 days of 1st tamoxifen I.P., and lysates were prepared in lysis buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.6, 150 mM NaCl, 0.5% Na deoxycholate, 1% SDS, 1 mM EDTA without protease inhibitors) using electronic hand homogenizer. Lysates were sonicated in water bath sonicator for 10 min at 4C and centrifuged at 20,000g for 20 min at 4C. Protein concentrations were measured using the BCA method from the supernatants, and 100 microG total protein samples were submitted to the OSU CCIC Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics (MSP) Facility.
