Method development for high sensitivity, surfactant-free intact protein extraction for single human muscle fibers (hSMFs) isolated from the vastus lateralis after membrane permeabilization and subsequent functional data collection. Includes qualitative assessment of variation in hSMFs from the same donor, and hSMFs from different donors.
