Vinca alkaloids in the MeOH crude extract of the petal of Catharanthus roseus were analyzed by LC-ESI-Orbitrap in positive ion mode. MS/MS scans were performed to detect the targeted alkaloids with the precursor m/z 335.2 (iminium catharanthine), 337.2 (catharanthine and vindolinine), 349.2 (serpentine), 457.2 (vindoline), 791.4 (iminium anhydrovinblastine) and 793.4 (anhydrovinblastine).
