In previous research, we have discovered a phenomenon of inducible antagonistic activity in strains of the order Bacillales in which, large inhibition zones were produced against different pathogens when growing in the presence of the chemical compound triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC), where Bacillus subtilis NCIB3610, Bacillus cereus EA-CB1047 and B. tequilensis EA-CB0015 how high activity against the phytopathogen Ralstonia solanacearum. The exact structure of these compounds has not been so far elucidated; therefore, this project aims to clarify whether the changes in the metabolic profiles of Bacillus sp. correspond to biotransformation reactions of TTC or might be products of any additional biosynthetic process not yet revealed, using molecular networks approaches.
