In this study, germ-free mice were administered a gavage containing Ruminococcus gnavus ATCC 29149. Fecal samples were collected at three time points: before gavage (Pre), 5 days post-gavage, and 13 days post-gavage. These samples underwent polar metabolite extraction and were analyzed using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) in both positive and negative modes.
