Protein spectra for fresh and paraformaldehyde (PFA)-fixed rat brain cell suspensions. The purpose of this experiment was to determine if/what differences exist when characterizing proteomic signatures from fresh (Fr) or fixed (PFA) samples. Brain cells were isolated from a single rat and were split into 6 replicates in which half were fixed and half remained fresh (N = 3, n = 5).
