Targeted metabolomics and shotgun proteomics on renal cortex were used to characterize and extrapolate from selected mouse models for chronic kidney disease. Mouse models used include: adenine diet for 2 weeks (ADE early), adenine diet for 4 weeks (ADE late), 5/6 nephrectomy (NEP), unilateral ischemia reperfusion (IRI), nephrotoxic nephritis (NTN).
