Root exudate LC-MS data for Brachypodium distachyon Bd21-3 grown for 5 weeks on different iN+ media (groups: +NH4, +NO3, +NH4NO3) or 3 weeks in iN+ medium followed by two weeks on iN-free medium (groups: -NH4, -NO3, -NH4NO3). Each treatment had 5 biological replicates. The iN+ media contained inorganic N (iN) at 5 mM. Plants were grown inside EcoFAB 2.0
