Mass spectrometry was used to determine the components which associate with CENP-ATAP during replication in late S phase, following affinity purification of CENP-A nucleosomes. CENP-ATAP was immunoprecipitated from the chromatin fraction of randomly cycling cells or late S synchronized cells. Mass spectrometry was performed on Velos Orbitrap.
